The friendly polite staff made us all feel welcome and the food was amazing. We were fortunate that the weather was good and so managed to get an outside table on the lawn. Watching the children swimming in the river having fun in the sun would recommend a visit.
The food here is always really lovely and the prices are on the high end, but still reasonable. The staff are always well dressed and very welcoming and friendly. They offer Gluten Free options which is always a winner and are happy to cater for all needs.
Excellent food, will fill you up, at about 15.50 for massive fish and chips/burger and chips (probably the biggest and best burger I had the good fortune to taste). Good location and nice hotel. Rooms could do with a refurb, especially the carpets in the rooms (a bit dirty, see pic). But overall very nice.
Just come back from a stay at The Swan. What a wonderful couple of days. We arrived early but our room was ready. All the staff are exceptional. Receptionists, bar staff, odd job man went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Special mention to Adele in the restaurant at breakfast, what a credit she is to the Swan team and even better she praised The Swan herself. We stayed in a lovely room which was a nice size and had everything we could want, dressing gowns too. Biscuits were yummy. We will be back.Mr and Mrs Jackson
Lovely place, a real touch of class. I love the boutique feel. Thought the uniforms for the receptionists were awesome - so much better than the stuffy old fashioned suits you see on most other receptionists. A gorgeous place for a wedding or a spa break. Stunning and views across the river.
