Our family have particularly enjoyed the Lantern Festival events over the years. Ford Park is the perfect location for the final celebrations. The car boot sales are perfect for browsing, and friendly conversation. Absorb the family feel of the park. Take a look around the cafe area, where you can park the car. Enjoy something to eat or just a simple cup of tea with a scone. This is a lovely green space in a delightful town.
Excellent play park and grounds leading to the monument. Walkway to monument suitable only for able walkers. Would be a struggle with a buggy. Drivable option if arranged in advance. Impressive views from the monument well worth the hike up.
