Great place to visit. Went in winter so quiet and easy to get around. Very nostalgic with lots to see. Exhibits packed together so somewhat challenging to see all angles of vehicles. Cafe was lovely. Food delicious with tempting cakes and friendly staff.
Great place lots of free parking. Friendly staff. Excellent display of cars motor bikes and push bikes. Not the biggest motor museum but they haven't wasted any space there is alot to see. And they have a separate building housing bluebird land speed car and a collection of land speedboats.
We visited here on our way home from Coniston Lake, lovely museum full of all things interesting about the past! Great little Blue Bird tourist place outside the actual museum itself too which was super interesting to watch and find out it was the lake we'd just been too as well! Great friendly staff, the museum also has a cafe and toilets on site too with free parking, price was only around 8 too! Great gift shop at the end to get a few old fashioned souvenirs!
Loved the visit here. Good price. Loved the little cafe attached to it! Will 100% be visiting again. However I could be a little bit bigger. But overall I really enjoyed the walk around.
If you are a car nut and love cars like I do.. then put this place on your to do list!!A fab place with stunning classic cars from all eras. My particular favourite is the MK1 Escort Mexico...a true Ford classic!Lots of information about the cars and bikes on show. A real pleasure to walk round.There is a brill shop that sells lots of cool stuff.. I bought 4 metal car wall plaques for my kitchen. Will definitely be back for more! 10/10
