Amazing attractions hidden in the beautiful late district. If you are visiting the lakes well worth a trip. The entrance fee is very reasonable and lots of different animals to be seen. Our little boy loved the interactive time where he got to hold a bearded dragon.

Good variety of displays, fish, otters, terrapins. Our daughter especially enjoyed watching the leaf cutter ants. Lost one star as the cafe, in a separate building, was rather fast food focused.

Probably the most convenient attraction to visit at Lakeside. Located right beside the pier, this aquarium has enough to keep one entertained for at least 2 hours. Be sure to catch the otter feeding sessions!

This is a nice place, there are some good exhibits. A few were closed/empty when we arrived. There were only toilets at the beginning and none on the way around. Parking is pay and display. However you could get the at or train and make a day of it. We only spent just over an hour here. There is a cafe nearby and a gift shop. It is right next to lake Windermere.

There is nowhere better in the Lake District. I never tire of it. Great Aquarium, Steam Train, Boats not to mention the motor museum. Great deals if you buy multi attraction tickets. Oh and the Cafe does possibly the best burgers on earth!
